The Casino Marina group made the decision to convert all their gaming operation to the ACE System and the rollout of the ACE System has steadily continued with the Lusaka casino being the latest unit to go through the swap over. Despite the travel restrictions imposed because of COVID-19, the conversion went ahead.
“It really was a superb effort by the operations staff in Lusaka and the ACE team based in Johannesburg.”, commented Cliff Lamberton from ACES. Production and logistics were managed by Elzette Lotriet and Denise Carlisle respectively under difficult conditions with limited production capacity as a result of lockdown and infrequent freight, but they got the hardware built and sent, which left it up to Vincent Tokwe, the Slots Manager and Xolani Nqai from ACES. Through use of video conferencing and TeamViewer the entire installation was done remotely.
Casino Marina Lusaka is one of eight operational casinos in the group and the fourth to move onto the ACE System. The casino offers 60 gaming machines with progressive jackpots and floor wide Mystery Jackpots through the ACE System and 25 live table games offering Poker, Blackjack, Roulette and Baccarat.
“The change of the system to Ace came with enhanced customer benefits such as autoplay, automated cash back option, points earning potential, mystery jackpots and points convention to cash.” Responded Vincent Tokwe, the Slots Manager when asked how their customers were impacted.
The ACE System is a full turnkey casino management system offering Slots, Tables and Cashiering Management, with jackpotting, player tracking, membership management and remote management.
All training was conducted through ACES online training portal, which offer course bundles for the various job roles in the casino, course of each ACE module and all the webinar recordings.
All course on the ACE training portal are free and can be accessed from any device with an internet connection.
